Sibling shots that include a toddler…they can be so tough for a newborn photographer and the parents! As any parent would know, a toddler’s attention span is short—they have things to do, toys to play, the world to explore. A newborn sibling is interesting for just a few minute so that’s the window of time that the photographer has to capture the sibling bond. Sometimes bribery is needed. One parent offered his toddler a brand new car. Sometimes a favorite snack will work (the kind that will not stain teeth),…like a cheerio hidden on the baby’s cheek so the the toddler appears to kiss the baby. And sometimes the stars align and we just get lucky…like Alayna kissing her new brother Weston. What’s unexpected is Weston’s reaction to the kiss. Simply adorable!
