Newborn Photographer Seattle | Rachel 10 days new

A few months ago, I photographed her mom for her maternity photos, and now we get to meet this new soul—Rachel!

For this session, we went with soft pink, purple and cream colors mixed with a variety of textures. I love how the soft rabbit fur, ombre pink wrap, silky rose petals and the concrete floor go well together.

The challenging part of this newborn photo session was photographing her two-year-old sister Sarah. As any experienced parent (and child photographer) knows, a toddler has short attention span. By the time we got to the family part of the session, Sarah’s attention was very short but luckily we were able to capture some smiles from her. I couldn’t resist including an outtake of the family shot with Sarah’s tortured expression that seem to say, “So over it.”  Absolutely priceless, heh heh heh!
