Mercer Island Maternity Photographer | Union Station Photoshoot

Winter is here and for my clients, that means their maternity photo sessions take place inside at my warm and cozy Bothell studio. Despite the inclement weather, I would still like to offer my clients on-location options so I have been busy scouting for indoor locations. My latest find is the Great Hall at Union Station in Seattle’s Pioneer Square. When I first walked into the Station, I was blown away by the ethereal beauty of the 11,000 SF Great Hall ballroom. The majestic barrel-vaulted ceiling is jeweled with overhead lights and the walls are graced with elegant wall chandeliers. Just ideal for a glamour maternity shoot!

Then the perfect muse client came along. Holly is expecting her second child and like many pregnant mamas, is a bit self conscious about her weight gain. I assure her with that with the right lighting, posing and styling, she will look amazing. I recommend professional makeup and hair so she can feel beautiful and confident at her session.

As I expected, the photoshoot did not disappoint! Here are the highlights of the Union Station maternity photoshoot. We even captured a few family photos at the end. Someone commented to me that Holly looks like a REAL princess. I agree…she certainly does!
