Before becoming a photographer, she worked as a business analyst with user experience in IT for ten year. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, specializing in Marketing and Web Development. She currently works with several small ecommerce businesses to improve their marketing, streamline their processes and build sales.

Forrest attended University of Illinois at Chicago, where he earned a B.S. Marketing, and Loyola University Chicago where he earned an MBA. He was a Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Army Reserve. Forrest started his career in Sales and Marketing. He then spent the next 20 years in Public Outreach and Diversity various government agencies in Chicago and Seattle before starting Gillette & Associates in late 2015.
